Special treatment and electroplating are used to enhance mechanical endurance of contacts, allowing for up to 10,000 mating cycles without any loss of power, data, or signal. Typical applications include test equipment, trial assembly of fully automated production lines, as well as tools, machines and equipment that require frequent changes in connections.
